Heart Fiber Roza

This is the OC i've been discussing with and  
An OC based on smexy's heart fiber species!

I decided to name her Roza for short.

Roza's a lot cuter and brighter than i originally planned. I have to admit, this is not what i had in mind and i was quite pissed with myself for this drawing initially. But then, hey, i don't think it's that bad either.

Summary:

Roza is a heart fiber designed to represent a guarded heart. The flower petals indicate a vulnerable side (just like a person's heart)

The growing thorns surrounding her represents her lack of trust, she uses it to protect herself from pain that she might experience if anyone gets too close.

Rose and Thorns


Meaning behind the design: 

Roza represents a gentle and innocent personality. She is emotionally sensitive, naïve and even gullible. When she got hurt and betrayed, bitterness started growing in her and this is what the thorns represent. The thorns act as a defense mechanism to protect her from harm and pain (mostly emotional)


Describe your fibrous connection with another Heart Fiber's: 

In the past, the rose didn’t have thorns growing around her and she was pretty much open and vulnerable to everything.

After a bad experience (such as a special someone’s betrayal), she grew distrustful and hateful. She used to have many fibrous connections in the past, however, some of these connections were severed by the sharp thorns and she has lost contact of these friends. This is to protect her from ever being betrayed again, aside from that; the thorns surrounding her further isolated her from other heart fibers, preventing her from forming new and strong connections.

Roza is very selective of who she connects with. It takes time before she begins trusting someone. Even if someone did make a connection with her, this is often weak and may easily break.

Describe the space that surrounds your Heart Fiber: 

Roza’s thorns grow around her body. The more bitter and hateful she becomes, the thorns grow thicker and stronger. I’ve thought about two possible space for this heart fiber.

Negative Space: Dark and full of thorns, cage of thorns, rose petal may fade in color, turn into a darker shade or wilt.

If she is consumed by such negative emotions, her thorns will grow thicker around her, forming a cage. Although she believes that she is safe inside this cage of thorns this will stop her from growing and will eventually lead to despair.

Positive Space: Bright open space, roses growing around, the space will be filled with scents of roses, her petal dress will grow and become brighter and vibrant in color, more layers of petals will be added to her petal dress

If she begins to learn from her bad experience and become more open to other heart fibers and grow to be more trustful, the thorns will disappear slowly. Without the thorns, she will be free to grow and bloom to her full potential, making her more appealing to other heart fibers. Her space will glow bright like the sun, roses will grow around and the scent around her space will smell like fresh flowers.

 

Extra (habits of your heart fiber, more info, etc.): 
-she is reserved and quiet

-she is wary of new heart fibers or those that she didn’t recognize

-she often becomes worried that other heart fibers may betray her or hurt her

-she is often thinking about past bad experiences, this makes it difficult for her to move on

-moving on, for her, will require a friend’s (other heart fibers) patience and guidance, as well as her very own determination
